World’s leading mobile ticketing provider doubles in size enters new markets, wins major awards, and breaks the record for the number of mobile tickets sold in the UK.

The world’s leading mobile ticketing provider, Corethree, has announced that 2018 has been a bumper year for growth. At the beginning of Q4, the company processed £6,250,000 worth of mobile tickets in one week, issuing a staggering 750,000+ mobile tickets via Corethree m-ticketing systems. Three million tickets were sold in the month of October alone, peaking at 150,000 mobile tickets – worth £1,500,000 in sales - issued on a single day. As 2018 draws to a close, Corethree’s total number of mobile tickets sold has crashed through the 80,000,000 barrier, an achievement unsurpassed by any other mobile ticketing provider worldwide.

In addition, the last twelve months have seen Corethree double its workforce with thirteen strategic new appointments including two in the C-suite, five at management level, four in the technology development team and two imminent new members of the sales team. The company has also added to its client-base with three new partnerships in the transport sector as well as breaking into the events and entertainment sector, where m-ticketing can significantly boost revenue by enabling tens of millions of consumers to take advantage of customer services and tailored promotions, securely, from a mobile device.

The great results continued through 2018 for Corethree with three prestigious award wins reflecting its industry-leading position: Best Global Leader in Mobile Ticketing & E-Commerce - UK, from the Corporate USA Today Annual Awards; Best Mobile Ticketing – UK, from the M&A Today Global Awards and Most Outstanding Mobile Ticketing Company from the AI Global Excellence Awards.

“We are delighted to be closing 2018 on such a high note. The strong momentum behind our growth comes from our ability to work closely with clients to develop bespoke, data-driven mobile ticketing solutions that deliver value-add to their customers. Whilst the transport sector has been the main driver of mobile ticket solutions, we are actively engaged with partners in the entertainment industry where another huge consumer audience is waiting to benefit from the world of mobile tickets,” says Ashley Murdoch, CEO Corethree.
